Laura Mae Grant went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2017.  Laura is the beloved daughter of Geneva Slaughter and James Garner.  Cherished mother of LaTanya Williams, ShanTele Norwood (Raymond), Tara Doss and Jermaine Doss.  Loving sister of Barbara Johnson and Justin Garner, Robert Bryant, James Garner Jr. and  Neicy Garner.  One Aunt Lois Martin of Chicago, IL.  Grandmother of Wayne, Laura, Tanae, Jermaine, Jamal, Tiara, Casey, Janquia, Joseph and Raymond Jr., and Great-Grandmother of 23.
