LaVerne I. Smith, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2020. LaVerne is survived by her sons Herman Releford, Melvin Irby Sr.(Denise), and Edward Irby Sr.(Sylvia). She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, special cousins, and many extended family and friends to cherish her memory.
