Lavontae was born April 12, 1993, to Gwendolyn Knight & Lawrence Moorer in Akron, Ohio.  His earthly departure was on August 15, 2023.

Lavontae spent his early childhood years right in the heart of Akron, Ohio, with his family before relocating to Chester, New Hampshire .There, he finished grade school and into  his high school  years.  He returned to Akron to live, after reconnecting with his family in 2012.

Lavontae’s smile and energy was only a few of his best attributes. His vibe for music and laid back culture could pull any- one into his peaceful zone . He loved to laugh and write his own lyrics.  Most of all, he had a swag and demeanor like no other. He was truly one of a kind, and filled with love to give.

Lavontae was a champion in wrestling during his adolescent and teen years .  He accepted God and talked of his beliefs frequently, spreading his life lessons into messages.  He had a way about himself that made everyone he came across just adore him.  He was a very active uncle to many nephews, a great brother and son to have in life.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, Cordel Little and maternal grandmother, Rose Mary Knight, both of Akron, Ohio.

He is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Knight; father, Lawrence H Moorer; grandparents, Geraldine Greene, Lawrence H. Moorer Sr.; brothers, La’Shawn Knight-Hunt, Cory Little, Lawrence Dedray Moss, Derick Moss; adopted brother, Corey Beck ; sisters, Lateefa Heater-Moorer, Sherice Knight-Kelly,  Keniah Mariah Knight-Portis; a host of beloved nephews, nieces and cousins, aunts & uncles; his favorites,  Uncle Kelly & Auntie Jackie, and many more loving adopted family members.
