Lawrence “Infamous” Adale McCullough died unexpectedly at home in Akron, Ohio at the age of 37.
Lawrence was born on August 22, 1980 in Akron, Ohio to Loretta Murphy and Arthur McCullough, Sr. He graduated from Akron Central Hower High School in 1998. Lawrence was a supportive uncle and brother to his family and friends. Lawrence loved his family and friends with all his heart, always willing to help those in need. Lawrence was kind, funny, smart, loving and always found a way to make us laugh. Most of all he was loved by everyone who knew him. To know him was to love him. Lawrence’s heart was bigger than life, his brotherly love and down-to-earth personality were beyond words. Lawrence had a great sense of humor always having a joke or story to tell that would make you smile. Lawrence met no strangers because strangers always love him as he would say “keep it real.”
Lawrence is survived by his mother, Loretta Murphy and step-father Lawrence Murphy of Akron, Oh; his grandparents John and Athara Ellis; siblings, Arthur McCullough (Latasha) of Akron, Frank Gooden of Akron, Naidra Harris (Howard) of Elyria, and Sharna McCullough of Akron; his beloved nieces and nephews, Shamajae, Tashiya, Tanayja, Arlissa, Arsean, Lawrence, Nariya, Avayah, Talaysia, Hannah and Chase; special friend LaAnna Kirskey; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Idesta and Louvergia Lauderdale, Sr. of Akron, uncles, Louvergia Lauderdale, Jr. of Akron and John Ellis, Jr. of Akron, aunt, Priscilla Reynolds of Akron, longtime friend, “Big Ed” of Akron.
