Lawrence Lavell Jefferson, age 51, went home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2022, in Columbus Ohio. Lawrence was born on Sep 30, 1970 in Cleveland, OH, to Mattie Mae Jefferson & Aaron Johnson.
Lawrence was well known to many but those that knew him best would sum him up with these few words: Polo fanatic, Green Bay Packer’s biggest fan (Steeler’s hater), and Michael Jordan’s greatest competition. Lawrence loved to make people laugh, loved cruising with his wife, was passionate about comedy and being the coldest Barber in the city. He loved his Columbus Crew: Tiger, Tice, Goat, Jed, Peezy & Fat boy. Many loving memories of him and his special place in your life light your path as we continue to move forward.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sallie Mae Wiley, and his beloved Aunt, Stephanie “Steph” Jefferson. He is survived by his loyal & loving wife, Danille Jefferson, sons Lawrence Jefferson Jr, Javell Jefferson, Hayden Hood, Jorden Jefferson, Charles Dumas Jr and daughter, Dominque White, his special nephew Najee Fitten and grandson Charlie Dumas. Also, left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Mattie Mae Jefferson and Aaron Johnson, sisters Tia Jefferson, whom he had a special love for, and Tennille Johnson (Jessie), brother Aaron Johnson, Jr. his cousin Glenn Parker, who was more like a brother, his close cousin, Martice “Tice” Beaver, his number one Polo competitor, his
best friend Ernest “Tiger” Tate, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
