LeChaun “Lo” Romell Thomas received his heavenly wings from the Lord on June 24, 2023 at the age of 64 years old. He was born on May 28, 1959 in Akron, Ohio to Peggy E. Davis and James C. Davis. LeChaun graduated from South High School in 1977. He was passionate about the culinary arts and loved cooking for his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. LeChaun was known for his stylish attire and flashy bling. He was a very social person and never met a stranger. He had a magnetic personality and owned every room that he was in.
LeChaun worked at Jerry Dilts Catering in Atlanta as a culinary specialist and mixologist before returning home to Akron.
LeChaun was preceded in death by his loving father, James C. Davis, and beloved grandmother, Louise B. Thomas (Granny). He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Peggy E. Davis; sons LeChaun Jr and D’Andre; grandchildren LeChaun III, Ariyah, Mieyah, Nevaeh, and D’Andre, Jr.; sisters Helen Duboise (David Smoot) and Stacy Davis; brothers Roger Taylor and James C. Davis, Jr.; special children Cameron, Kole, and Keisha; uncle Earnest Thomas; special cousins Bobby & Terry Jackson; and a host of other family and special friends.
