February 8, 1960 – June 4, 2025

Lee Maxie Williams peacefully entered eternal rest on June 4, 2025, at his residence in Akron, Ohio. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Born in Akron on February 8, 1960, Lee was the beloved son of the late Obie and Anna L. Williams. (Deceased) He was baptized at Bethel Baptist Church, where he began a lifelong journey of faith.

A proud graduate of Buchtel High School and Bowling Green State University, Lee was a standout football player throughout high school and college. He earned his bachelor’s degree in education at BGSU and carried that passion for learning into his everyday life.

Lee will be cremated, and a memorial celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.

His legacy of strength, compassion, and joy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to share in his life.
