So glad I got a chance to meet such a wonderful man, Granddad I never call you Mr.Jackson because all I ever seen was the love you had for your children grand children and great grand which two was mine. I never will forget the Love you showed to Chance and Crission, and tried to help my Son, Thank you Granddad for all you did for us.Rest in peace Granddad until we meet again. Forever in our Hearts.

Uncle Leroy, will be sorely missed! As a child and as a young man you were an example for me to follow and grow into a man that understands unconditional love, to understand "Agape Love", because my uncle lived it! The bible says you will know a man/woman by their fruit. You always remained in my heart and mind because your fruit was good uncle and for that, I'm forever grateful and blessed to have you as an uncle! You were the epitome of what family should be to each other. We've been given a promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. There will be a day when we will see each other again. I wish I had the ability to pass on to all of you the true measure of this man--I do not after 50 yrs of knowing him I do not even have the the ability to pass on my feeling about him at this time. I tell you I LOVED HIM AS A CONRAD IN ARMS AND AS A FRIEND. We met in Korea in 1961. He always gave more than he received, he was a man of great character, principles, compassion,humility and wisdom. He was helpful,caring and kind and he taught me some those skills.He said what meant and meant what he said. He was more than a friend, he was one of my heroes. It was my privilege to be a part of his life. If you missed knowing him you missed a great man. I am at a loss for words and I could not do him justice with words alone.To family you know how I feel. To My Family Leroy will be missed he was my Big cuzin he use to make sure or say try and make sure his family was ok! He used to always come by his aunt house to see us and how we were doing. Growing up I used to love going to visit and spend the nite with him and his family. Leroy was a great man etc. He will be deeply miss. I will never forget him and his love for his Family." Mr. Smooth... Leroy, Leroy, Leroy. I knew Leroy and family when growing up on East 101st St. He would teach us young men how to box and be protectors of our families. Leroy was a true family man who would impart wisdom to those who cared to receive. Iron sharpens Iron! A man of honor. You will be missed... R.I.P. my brotha!
