My dad was one of the strongest, spiritually entuned, funny and most loving person i've ever met. i never forget the conversations we would have some of them mainly about boys lol and others mostly about God and one of the most beautiful things a father could ever teach his daughter is the love of God. He had an unshakable faith and that is something along with other lessons i will carry with me for the rest of my life. I loved and miss my father greatly but i know i'll see him again in paradise.

Coach Claude Holland left a message on December 18, 2020:
Lemil Carter (Dink) was an incredible human being who was blessed with a multitude of talents. Most people never had a chance to witness one of his greatest talents but I did as his AAU Jr Olympic Track Coach. I took Dink to the AAU junior Olympic track and field nationals in St. Louis in 1986, and Dink returned home the national champion in the 400 intermediate hurdles. Had Dink pursued track and field as his main endeavor he surely had the potential to be an Olympian. Rest In peace Dink.
