Leonard Eugene Thomas, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2020. Leonard is survived by his children, Jeffery (Cassandra) Thomas, Jennifer (Allen) Stokes, Jerome Thomas, Jennyl Thomas, Ruben (Denise) Patterson, and James (Jeanette) Frazier; siblings, Hector Thomas, Vivian Minor, Flora Roberts; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his companion, Mary Rome. Leonard is the son of the late, Sylvester and Martha Thomas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eloise Thomas; siblings, William H. Thomas, Everlena Small, Gloria Manning, William Henry, Fred Thomas and Sylvester Thomas.

I want to send my heart felt condolence to the family of Leonard Thomas. It was such a pleasure to meet with him and the other seniors at Zelma George Rec Center to play cards. He always had a word of wisdom to give and his smile was infectious. I thank God for "Lenny" Thomas, he will be missed.
