Lewis Brown, Jr. was born on October 27, 1947, in Covington, Ga., to the late Sarah and Louie Brown. He was a graduate of John R. Buchtel High School in Akron, OH. He retired from Timken Steel Mill in Canton, OH.
He was married to Brenda Brown. He was a dedicated Christian. He enjoyed spending time with his family, shopping, cooking, bowling, fishing, and watching the Cleveland Browns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert”Stanley” Brown and sister, Donta Brown.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Brenda Brown; children, Sylvia (Darnell) Thompson, Sara Donald, and Candace (Antonio) Davis; stepchildren, Tina, and Vernon Shelton Jr. Lewis; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis (Cynthia)Baker; sisters, Mildred (James) White, Cynthia Nixon, Marcia (Ronald) Robinson, and Linda Brown and a host of relatives and friends.
