Linda Collins was born January 2, 1957 in Akron Ohio to William and Lillian Collins. Linda attended Lane and Margaret Park elementary school, Thorton Middle School and graduated from South High School.  She attended Akron University for nursing for a short period of time. As a little girl she attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church and later was a member of People’s Baptist Church in Akron and Rebirth Worship Center in Columbus. Linda loved to care for others, she was a home health aide for 10 plus years at Almost Family.  She loved to listen to music, cook and spend time with her family.  She was a devoted mother to her two children Tamira and Antoine, she was also devoted to many more children in the neighborhood. Teaching them many things like making gravy from scratch.  Linda loved to cook and if you had her thanksgiving dinners; you know what I’m talking about!  All her meals were made with love!

Linda was a very nurturing and giving woman always taking care of someone. Once Linda retired from being a home health aide she moved to Columbus, Ohio after 55 years to be closer to her children, grandchildren, and sister. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father William and Lillian Collins, her Grandparents Homey and Tommie Lou Weems, her Grandson Antoine Collins Jr and Sister In-law Beverly Collins. She leaves to cherish her children; Tamira(Christopher) Campbell and Antoine Collins. Linda also leaves her siblings Phillip (Beverly) Collins, William “Porky” Collins II, Cheryl M. Collins. She also leaves to cherish her grandchildren, Ja’toine Drew Collins, Sirgeo Collins, and Christopher Campbell II, and a host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Aunts, and Friends.
