Lindale Rudolph, 78, passed away on October 26, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on September 19, 1947, in Cleveland, he remained deeply connected to his hometown throughout his life.
A proud graduate of East Technical High School in June 1966, Lindale continued to pursue education and personal growth throughout his life. He earned a degree from Sawyer School of Business in 1986 and later completed training at Truck Driving School, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Lindale’s career was as diverse as it was dedicated. He worked as a welder and served with distinction as an officer for the CMHA Police Department. His professional journey also included roles as a private investigator, security guard, and photographer. Ultimately, he found fulfillment on the open road and retired as a long-haul truck driver—a role that combined his love of travel and his strong work ethic.
His sense of duty extended beyond civilian life. Lindale served honorably in the United States Air Force from August 11, 1967, to May 31, 1973. As a Sergeant in the Strategic Air Command (S.A.C.), he was a proud Vietnam Veteran who carried the values of service and sacrifice with him throughout his life.
Lindale AKA “Zulu Casino” was a proud member of The Zulu Family. Lindale was an Elk and a Teamster of Local 422. Lindale loved to travel, fishing and watching sports. There was nothing he started that he could not do well.
In 1998, Lindale was baptized at Gethsemane Baptist Church, affirming his faith and spiritual foundation. Those who knew him remember him as a family-oriented man with a big heart—a protector and friend to all. He never met a stranger and left lasting impressions wherever he went.
Lindale is lovingly remembered by his daughters Corlette Rudolph and Kenya Odoms of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters Amina Azim of Citrus Heights, California; Carolyn Rock; and Gloria Rudolph. His legacy continues through ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity.
He was preceded in death by his father Joe Rudolph; mother Willie Bell Rudolph; and son Shawn A. Rudolph.
