Lionel Evans McDowell born August 6, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio to Dollie Ruth Durrah-McDowell (deceased) and Clyde McDowell Sr. (deceased). Lionel was one of eight children, attended John Hay High School, played football, and was baptized at an early age. Lionel served in the United States Navy and enjoyed designing and architectural engineering. Lionel was wedded to Kimberly Lewis and together they shared their son Lionell McDowell (deceased). Lionel later married Tina McDowell with whom he shared three children, David & Daniel McDowell and Tanish Massey (McDowell). Lionel especially enjoyed fishing, sports, dogs, movies, worship and fellowship with friends and loved ones. Lionel leaves behind in his loving memory three surviving children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, and five surviving siblings, Carol Brown, Marsha McDowell, Jeanine McDowell, Randy McDowell, and Ronnie McDowell. Crystal McDowell (deceased), Clyde McDowell Jr (deceased), a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues.
