Jones (Jacinta), Carolinn Newkirk (David), Michelle Mitchell-Lamkin (William), Elaine Brewer (Khevin); siblings: Erma Sudberry and Barbara Pinkney; In-Laws: John Mitchell, Charles Mitchell (Laverne), Lillian Cook; grandchildren: Tiarra Wade (Toussant), Danielle Weldon, Ericka Perry, Alexis McClellan, Brandie Mitchell, Benjamin Lamkin (Mallory), Khevin Brewer, Jr., Courtney Jones, Charonell Bevel, Logan Jones, Ronald Jones, Jr., great-grandchildren: Sarah Jones Stewart, Ian Fuqua, Dylan Richmond, Amaya Wade, Bailee Perry, Tyler Weldon, Mitchell Marshalleck, Anaya Lamkin, Benjamin Jaylin Lamkin, Ava Lamkin, and Benjamin Rowe. So many years ago, from grade school well into adulthood, I realized the blessing of the wisdom, the knowledge, the acceptance, and so much more, that Lois added to my life. Before I knew the words "Role Model" and "Mentor", I benefited from these provided by the example Lois showed. In the years after leaving the nest, that blessing has only become more appreciated. No General, or Judge, or President, has ever been a better source of life altering good information, even though some have been excellent. Lois, my love and appreciation always, and I look forward to meeting you again. Thank you for your passing so much of yourself to your family so that the good you shared can live on.
