Mrs. Lois Jean Watson, age 84, passed away on April 8, 2025.

Lois was born in Livingston, Al., to Robert and Lucy Cockrell.

Lois was married to Milton Watson Sr. of Charlotte, N.C. on 7/23/1977 in Cleveland, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by Robert Cockrell Sr.(father); Lucy Cockrell(mother); Andre Anderson Sr.(son-in-law); Lawanda Holmes(daughter); Clarence Holmes(son-in-law); Milton Watson Jr.(stepson); Eugene Jordan(brother-in-law) and Lucinda Cockrell(sister).

Lois is survived by her husband Milton Watson Sr.; former spouse Herbert Epps II(Jean); her three children, Darlene Anderson; Horace Epps and Herbert Epps III(Tammy Epps); her four siblings, Mary Ann Robinson(Nathaniel); Bernice Jordan; James Cockrell and Robert Cockrell Jr.; nine grandchildren, Brian Epps; Roshawn Epps; Kevin Epps; Andre Anderson Jr.(Tearra); Antonio Watson; Alliece Watson; Chalonn Epps; Ryan Epps; Jared Clinton; Dominique Epps and a host great grandchild, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Lois had such a passion for her family that she took great pride in cooking, baking and keeping her family together. Second to her family, was maintaining the beautiful flower gardens of her home in Bedford Heights. Additionally, she loved crafting and creating hand crafted greeting cards.

Lois was a devote Christian and that devotion would lead her down the path to be ordained. She was a special person who was loved by all who met her and was the matriarch and foundation of her family. She will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.
