Born April 1st, 1945 Loisetta Armstead to Lawrence Armstead & Sarah Mapson.

Lois is the second eldest of 8 children, with her twin Lawrence, and siblings Sandra, Sam, Amir, Jerome, Anthony & her youngest sibling Antinette who preceded her in death.

She attended Cleveland Public schools, graduating from John Hay in June 1964 and going on to attend East Cleveland Bible Institute and the Cleveland School of Dental & Medical Assistants.

Working for and completing her internship with the late Dr. Ulyses G. Mason. She did in-home health care for several years and went on to attend Cuyahoga Community College, after which they placed her with Cuyahoga County Information Service Center.

She worked in the capacity of secretary, payroll officer, quality controller and customer service representative until retiring in December 2009 after 30 years of service.

She married Ronald Phillips in 1967 (no kids). Ronald preceded her in death.

She later married John W. Long Sr. One son, John W. Long Jr. John Sr. also preceded her in death.

She later married Joseph Hodge and after 19 years of marriage Joseph preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn one son John W. Long Jr. (Mitzi), daughter Crystal Lee Lott, grandchildren, Christopher & Carissa Hodge, John W. Long III, Jordan A. Long and Cameron Miley (Mother Kate & brother Carson), Only God-Child: Marla Hodge-Travick, 1 sister Sandra, 5 brothers: Lawrence (wife Doris) Springhill, Tenn., Samuel & Amir Cleveland, Ohio, Jerome (wife Diane) of Hanceville, Alabama, and Anthony of Cleveland.
