With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lorna Joyce Wood Gordon, who peacefully went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Lorna later made Akron, Ohio her home for over 58 years. She was a devoted wife to Malcolm Gordon Sr. for 57 years and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to her family.
Lorna will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit, warmth, strength, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
