Louis Thomas Bucey, 66, passed away on October 8, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Louis was born September 4, 1955, in Akron, Ohio.  He was one of nine children born to the union of Richard and    Hessie Bucey.

Louis attended and graduated from Akron Public Schools. He entered the U.S. Military in 1976 and was proud to be of service.

Louis enjoyed fishing, chasing his grandchildren, young nieces and nephews, along with family cookouts, spending time with his family, and helping anyone in need that he could help. His heart was as big as he was a man, and his love for his family and friends was as deep as his baritone voice.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Richard and Hessie Bucey;  his sister, Marilyn Stone and his brother, Lemon Harold   Bogan.

Louis leaves to cherish his memories his son, Louis Thomas Baranyai and daughter, Aileen Marie Baranyai (Monroe). Louis also had a hand in raising Darnell Roper and Dominique Wood.  He also leaves his grandchildren, Andre Robinson, Roemon Edmon, Eli Edmon, Ezekiel Myers and Elaayna Baranyai; his big sisters, Dorothy Robinson, Ida Robinson, Betty Joseph, Hazle Bogan, Mary Holyfield-Brown and Millie (John) McMillan.  His many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, as well as friends, will also cherish his memory.
