Lovie Mae Jackson, 94 of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Saturday January 6, 2024.
Lovie was born on May 8, 1929, to Albert L. Fann and Bishop Beulah Fann. She was the 12th child. Lovie graduated from Central High School. Upon graduation, Lovie became a certified cosmologist, a physical therapist at Benjamin Rhodes Nursing Home also known as Jewish Convalescence Center on Harvard Avenue. After leaving Benjamin Rhodes, Lovie chose to leave their services and work at the U.S. Postal Services as a postal clerk She met the love of her life William (Jake) Jackson after his discharge from the U.S. Army who presided her in death on June 30, 2006.
Lovie was a loyal member of Eastview United Church of Christ and was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, and aunt. Her zest for exercise, life, gospel music, and animals was mirrored by her phenomenal spirit.
Lovie leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
