Lucy Nell McGraw, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2021.

Lucy is survived by her loving daughters; Evelyn & Veronica, her one and only grandson Dorien Grayer; sisters, Bobbie, Willie Mae, Joyce Ray, Marilyn, Gerilyn and Sheila.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ben & Jimmie Sue McGraw, and brother Willie Jr.

She always gave me the biggest, tightest hug and whenever I look up I could count on her to be there at my big events. (Wedding and the loss of my mother in law.) I love you sooooo much Grama! This ya granddaughter. I thank you for our special bond, we cooked, laughs, inside jokes, our long talks, went on trips, girls day, we did alot etc. You taught me so much, had me with you all the time. Gave me a alot of love, we stayed tight knit. I’m missing you bad but I know you want me to be strong it’s hard. I know you gone forever stay with me. Imma miss us dancing together you taught me first dance out the womb. You always hyped me up. Yo cooking, us watching sports game, grocery shopping, you showing me how to cook, been wimme for 25 years. I’m so proud to be ya granddaughter forever and always with love.

Thank you for always being so welcoming, and warm towards me. “Checking” me when I stayed away too long when V moved. I will miss your quick wit and big smile. Rest Well, Ms Lucy.
