Lue Aaron Henderson (Wilkes), age 79, passed August 1, 2023 due to extended illness.
Lue was born on October 2, 1943 in Anniston, Alabama to the late Rev. John Carey and Bessie Wilkes.
Lue attended Cobb High School and received a scholarship to Lincoln University.
Lue married the love of her life, Roy Henderson, in 1968. To their union, Lisa, Keith, and Lori were born. Lue joined Seventh Day Adventist in 1975.
Lue was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Laura Gale, Debra Wilkes, and John Carey, Jr.
Lue is survived by husband Roy Henderson; children Lisa, Keith, and Lori; grandchildren Jennifer, Tiffany, Javon, Alexis, and Ketih, Jr.; great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Jaleah, Vivian, Jahani, and Jaycee; special friends Cherry Gore and Phyllis Johnson.
