Luella Rogers, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2020. Luella is survived by her mother, Luvenia Rogers; sister, Mary Ellen Dale; brothers, Thomas and James Rogers; 21 nieces and nephews; and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. My Aunt Luella was the jewel of our entire family. She was always smiling, willing to help, and serving her family and church. As Valerie stated in this beautiful service, she was our first teacher, our sitter, or Sunday school teacher, and friend! 25152 will not be the same without her! We love you Aunt Luella. Its hard to realize how little I knew about my aunt until it was too late. I find myself thinking about all the missed opportunities to really talk and spend time her. I do know that growing up she was always so kind to me and my cousins. It was a kindness I took for granted but I'll never forget her smile and laughter.
