Luella N. Wilson was born on July 2, 1939, in Anderson, SC to Jesse and John Norris. She later moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she attended John Hay High School. Affectionally called “Lu” by many accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior at New Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Lu worked for the government and received a special assignment in Washington, DC to work at the Pentagon for a period time while serving in a leading position. She later took an assignment with NCR where she met her husband Bob Wilson and later, they were joined in matrimony. In 1991 Bob and Lu founded a technology company called EduTech Inc., with the mission of helping individuals become self-sustaining members of our society. Lu was able to combine her love for others with the love she had for technology.
In addition to the love she had for her family, Lu loved to travel with her husband and family members meeting people from all over the world. She became fascinated with the different cultures and how they lived.
Lu had a love for her people and her community. She believed in fair treatment for everyone no matter who you were. Her beliefs led her to become a community activist and leader for the Bedford Heights Community.
On Sunday June 18th, 2023, while at her residence, Lu went to her final resting place to join her mother, father, husband and brothers John and James who all proceeded her in death.
Lu leaves to cherish her memory forever to her son Kenny (Robin) of Bedford Heights, Ohio, daughter Camille (James) of Charlotte, NC, 2 grandchildren Finale’ and Ryan, great grands and a host of nephews, nieces, relative & friends.
