My condolences to my sisters, Tanya, Sonya, Tynnetta, Rennetta and all of the family, friends and loved ones who are mourning at this time. My first memory of Mable was many years ago when I was a teenager working at the Salaam restaurant; she would come in for breakfast on Saturday mornings with the grandchildren. She always greeted me with love and had very good energy. The last time I saw Mable was at Rennetta and Charles wedding she had the same loving energy and smile on her face when I greeted her. She was blessed with 80 years of life and will be truly missed. Amirah Saleem Atlanta, GA.

Sister I cant believe that you are gone. You are my favorite cousin, my baby sister and my dearest friend. Until I see you again I will cherish the memories of our daily conversations about "The Young and The Restless" ; my driving from Warrensville to East 114th to take us to bingo to win some money; and just us reminiscing about the good old days with all the Jacksons having fun and doing there thing. Rest peacefully precious until I see you again.

My deepest condolences to the Patterson and Jackson family! I had the honor of serving with Sister Lieutenant Mabel for many years in our M.G.T. & G.CC (Muslim Girls Training & General Civilization Class)! Under the Leadership of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Cleveland, Ohio, Temple #18. Theodore Hamzah, Minister. Sister Mabel was an outstanding leader and teacher for the women and girls enrolled in our class. We loved and respected her example of what a woman (young & old) could and should be!! She demonstrated her love of family and friends at all times!! We pray that Allah grants her his reward of Paradise!! ASA Sister Mary Fleming-Bey

My lifelong neighbor that was family. She and my Grandmother were best friends and she played a pivotal role in my growth and development. I’ll cherish the bowling league and the bingo games. My bonus Grandmother will be missed.

To the entire family of Mrs. Mabel Patterson please accept the heartfelt sympathies of the McCray/Miles family over the passing of our dear neighbor, friend, and extended family member. We share in your sorrow and pray for your strength. Growing up I didn’t fully appreciate having Mrs. Patterson's watchful eye upon me. But as I grew into myself, I miss the blunt talk of a woman who had lived a rich and full life, had seen pitfalls catch many in their grips and was willing to share her experiences and observations. I didn’t see her as much over the past few years, but when I did, she always beamed with pride. As well she should because she too had a hand in raising me and many members of my family. I’m so thankful to have been born into a world where I shared a block with Mrs. P. Rest easy beloved, you will be missed.
