On June 21, 1970, Mable married the love of her life, Willie Shepard. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two daughters Felicia (Tracy) and Tameka.
She loved cooking and hosting guests in her home. She also enjoyed shopping. She loved shopping she couldn’t get enough of QVC and HSN. One of her greatest joys was spending quality time with her family, especially her three grandchildren, Marlicia, Mario II and Diamond, whom she absolutely adored. They each had their own unique and special relationship with her.
Mable worked at Ford Motor Company where she made lifelong friends. She retired after 32 years of service.
Mable leaves to cherish many fond memories with her husband of 54 years; two beautiful daughters, Felicia (Tracy) Woodberry and Tameka Shepard of Cleveland, Ohio. Three amazing grandchildren, Marlicia Darby (Tim), Mario Roscoe II & Diamond Seals, and two great-grandsons who are the Apple of her eye Tremayne and Torrian Darby, (4) siblings Eugene Coleman (Marzella), Thomas Coleman (Anita) Melvin Coleman (Sandra), (1) sister and her best friend, Gloria Cheese (Ray); Her amazing aunts, Martha Clancy, Hattie Coleman, Janie Curtiss, and Chanie Robinson; Her sister-in-loves Carrie L Fowlkes Rebecca Hogue, Frances Shepard and Juanita Owens, her two very dear friends, Diane Hogue and Elizabeth McDonald, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved like they were her own children.
