Malcolm Boswell Jr., 92 was born November 12,1927 in Cleveland Ohio. He
was the oldest of nine children born to Malcolm and Margaret Boswell. He
grew up on the East Side of Cleveland and Graduated from East Technical
High School. Malcolm served in the U.S Army from 1950-1952 and
achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was employed by the US Postal Service
and retired in 1983 with over 30 years of service.
He married Dorotha C. Jackson on May 4, 1957 and spent 54 years with
her until her death in 2011. Malcolm was an active and dedicated member
of the Episcopal Church.
Malcolm passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 13, 2019 . He
was preceded in death by his parents , Malcolm Sr. and Margaret, three
brothers Irving, Theodore, and Douglas, two sisters Catherine and
Marquerite. Leaving to mourn are his sisters Donna Mae, and Mary , his
children, Keith (Cheryll), Wendell K. , Margaret , and Laurie. Also mourning
are his 10 grandchildren Kayhm, Karla, Nikki, Keya, Sommer, Antoine,
Robyin, Joshua, Leslie , Danielle , Brittani, as well as his 13 great
grandchildren.
He was a good athlete most notably baseball, and an avid bowler as well.
Malcolm enjoyed a well rounded life, but clearly his priority in life and
greatest pleasure, was his family.
Malcolm Boswell Jr. was the patriarch of our family, a good man and a
great father.
He will be missed and remembered always!
