Mareyjoyce Green our beloved mother, age 91, went home to be with the Lord September 13, 2019.
She is survived by her children, Wallace Green and Janet Green Anthony-Clark; her siblings, Matthew Bowie, Iris Thomas and Cora Bowie Davis; three grandchildren, Dawan Green, Esther P. Anthony, and Timothy Anthony; three great grandchildren, Nathanel Mahler, Naomi Anthony, Nicholas Anthony.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Mareyjoyce Green Legacy fund. Checks should be made to the Cleveland State University Foundation, in the memo line IT MUST READ to the MAREYJOYCE GREEN LEGACY FUND.

I just wanted yall to know about my friend, because I just found out she past last year. She didn't tell me I was a leader and a inspiration to some, she'd shown me through her actions by nominating me for scholarships I never would have applied for and programs I never would have entered, and made me take classes that help me except who I am. Even though my grace will never match that of Dr Green's who's grace reminded me of my mom, grandmother, and Ms. Mint (Great Grand) she let me know that it was Ok and I could be proud in who I was as I was.
