Margaret Ann Hilton-Smith was born on December 16, 1940, in Manning, South Carolina to the union of the late Reverend Herbert and Alice Blair Hilton (Emma). She departed this life after a long illness on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center.
Margaret was a graduate of South High School. She was employed at Ford Motor Company as an inspector for 20 years.
Ann enjoyed shopping, cooking, and caring for others.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Herbert Sr., Alice (Emma) Hilton; son Reginald (Reggie) Hilton; brother Herbert Hilton Jr., Lee Ernest Hilton; sister Victoria Hilton, and great-grandson Ivory Lewis.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Kimberly (Virgil) Simmons of Uniontown, OH; brother Gerald (Joyce) all of Akron, OH; Charles Hilton of Minnesota, Dale Hilton of Akron, OH; sisters Deloris Evans, Gladys Johnson, Geraldine Matthews, Lydia Hilton, Lavern Lacy, Connie Wise, Henrietta Hilton, Pamela (Roy) Bowens, all of Akron, OH, Doris (Joe) Strempek of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Damien, Teddy, Tanisha, Nakita Hilton, Xzavier Walker, Zarrya Simmons and a host of great-grandchildren. Special Aunt Hattie Hilton, special sister-in-law Barbara Hilton; special friend Sadie Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. This classy lady will be missed but never forgotten.
