Margaret Annette Jones (Ever Hinds) was born on September 10, 1932, in Jackson, Mississippi to Clarence Hinds and Annette Jones (Both deceased).
Margaret graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan and received her diploma in January 1950 at seventeen years of age. She was an avid reader and member of the Miracle Book Club, she also studied culinary arts which made sense as she had a way of expressing her love through food. Everything she made from scratch and if you ever had the pleasure of enjoying a meal or baked good, you surely had a treat!
Margaret was the beloved wife of Stephen Arales (Deceased) for over sixty years. She dedicated her life to Jehovah through baptism on May 10, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio and remained a faithful servant until her death.
She was known for her unwavering kind spirit, strength and resolve no matter what the circumstances. Although she was very kind and loving, she never ‘spared the rod’ which meant if you did something you weren’t supposed to, you were surely disciplined without hesitation. Her greatest contribution was being the biggest cheerleader for her children, Donna (Willie), Terry (Johnny), Sandra (Rick), Tanya (Cal), Louis (Karen), Anita (Norman), Antonio, Dominic, and Marietta (Kerry). Her legacy and radiant spirit will live on through the lives of her nine children as listed above, her grandchildren: Naceeda (David), Sherricia (Worth), Andre, Mondez (Rose), Twileda (Tim), Desmond (Isabel), Tomika, Prentice (Desire), Jermaine, Candace, Kayla, Mischelle (Nate), Stephen (Ashley), Shaun (Alexis, Myala (Ivan), Curtis (Megan), Brian, Antonio, Kachera, Rayshawn, Mariah, Antonio, Angelo, Lonny, Royel (Lindsay), Jordan and Kierra. Also her great grands: Sydne, Maison, Tristen, Alynna, Cayden, Mondez Jr., Naila, Ayanna, A’nyia, Jayshawn, Jamiyah, Marquise, Brianna, Ariana, Tyler, Summerlyn, Navi, Luci, Stephon, Jaelin, Christopher, Sarai, Zaire, Somage, August, Royel, Emilio, Luna and her great-great grands: Asher, Xander, Killian, Braylen, Kden, Alexis, Brielle, Trey, Harmon, Kalen, Brennan, Juilo, Logan, Lucas, Devanty, Shaniya, Rawshawn Jr., Bentley, Kay Kay and a host of family and friends.
Margaret loved spending time in her yard making it beautiful, planting her favorite flowers which were tulips. Her favorite thing to do by far was enjoying time with her family and spiritual friends. She always showed up or welcomed you into her home with a warm smile, loving hug and kind words of encouragement. She was known to have a keen sense of knowing when her children or grandchildren needed to hear from her. She would reach out by telephone, handwritten letter, a thoughtful card, a right on time scripture or two, a thoughtful prayer, or just some soothing words of comfort.
Margaret, Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, Sister Arales, Friend…truly loved by all. “You have always been the wind beneath our wings”
