Margaret Florence was born in Cuthbert, GA on September 20, 1935, to Charlie Florence and Bessie L. Kitchens.

A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, she was also a fantastic cook, a grandmother in the Akron Public School System, and a devoted Christian attending Antioch Baptist Church until her health declined.  She was also blessed with two set of twin grandchildren.  Margaret loved catching up with family and friends through long phone conversations.  She was never tired of hearing about what we were up to and offering kind words of wisdom, and spreading the word of God.

She is Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Woods; granddaughter Maria Florence; twin sisters Ella Florence and Stella Reese, and her brothers; niece Clara J. Hill.

Margaret Leaves to cherish her loving memory; sons Charlie Florence Sr., Nathanial Florence and David L. Florence; grandchildren: Keisha Rhymes, Charlie Florence, Jr., Nicole, Christopher, Chrissy, Joshua, Brittany and Brian Florence, Kennedy Cole; nephew, James Florence; nieces, Rosa Gibbon, Mary Gordon and their respective spouses and siblings along with a host of family and friends.

We hated to see her go, but with her family by her side our beloved was called home to glory and we will miss her.  Rest in heaven……. we love you.
