Marise Vantoria (Bowman) Roberson was born March 9, 1951 to Morris Lee Bowman and Nelse Vantoria Bowman. She attended Catholic schools and graduated from Hoban Dominican in 1969. After graduating, Marise went to Michigan State University where she majored in nursing. She later moved to New Jersey where she became the proud mother of Marcus Bowman.
In 1975 she returned to Cleveland and began her nursing career at University Manor Rehabilitation Center. Marise enjoyed helping people in need, especially those with disabilities and the elderly. She later transitioned to Saber Rehabilitation centers. Among her colleagues she was known for her cheerful disposition to those in need.
Marise was an avid baseball and football fan. At a Cleveland Browns game in 1984, she would meet her soulmate, Gregory Roberson. They were married on August 27, 1988, which added a loving stepson to her life, Christopher Roberson. Marise prided herself on loving and caring for her family. She enjoyed family and friend gatherings. Marise was very supportive to her family and friends, she laughed and cried with you.
Marise leaves behind her children Marcus Bowman, Christopher [Staci] Roberson, and Lauren [Colvard] Hakim. Grandchildren Sedale, Paris, Marcus, Mashayla, Tatum, Lane, Rya, Zaire, Acai, & baby on the way. Her great grandchildren A’Vionne, Ariel and Asaiah. Sisters Wanda [Jeff] Floyd and Lisa [Thaddeus] Quinn, Gina [Michael] Lewis Alexander and Karla Hammock. See will also be missed by a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends
