Marsha Theresa Ann Wood, affectionately known as “Monie,” was born on March 21, 1962 in Canton, Ohio, to Millard I (Joe) and   Myrtle Wood. She departed this life peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Marsha graduated from The Canton McKinley High School, Class of 1982, and attended Gerber Beauty School. Her hobbies included watching tennis, hockey, and basketball. She also enjoyed playing all kinds of card games; Bid Whist was her favorite. Marsha loved to crochet, a gift she learned from her grandmother, Myrtle Chapman Waller, but she was called “Doll” by all.

Marsha is preceded in death by her father, Millard J. Wood, I.

She is survived by her mother, Myrtle A. (Waller) Wood; 4 daughters, Montoya, Marcheena (Anthony) Rhoden, Markeisha and MyLeka; 1 brother, Millard II “Joey” (Jill), all of Canton; 1 sister, Michele (Chele) of Houston, Texas; 14 grandchildren, Montraya,   Michael II, Mal’Aki, MarZhon, Mar’Shawnna, MyZhynik, Ma’Jour, MarIonna, Mar’eus, My’Onna, MyAjah, Mek’hia, Michele and Miyah; 1 great-grandson, MèiLonn; a host of nieces and nephews, family members, friends, and all of her adopted girls!
