Uncle Vaughn I never got the chance to tell you how much I appreciated you. How much love I felt every time you were around. You loved us nieces like your own! I never had a Dad, but I had you! I remember all the adventures, all the trips, the funny faces, the Jehovah witness meetings you made us attend, you being a Paramedic, everything! I’m so hurt I haven’t seen you, a text here and there wasn’t enough. Our family is so hurt there are no words. I hope you know how much you are loved. I pray that you are resting in perfect peace.

Vaughn was my partner for a little while at 31's house. Although I was new, he was always kind to me. May God be with your family now and always. You will be missed my friend.

I’ll never forget the call we were in together . The house was full of people , guns on the table and drugs on the sink . You gave me the heads up immediately that this was bad news . We got out side and the fight began. I don’t know what would of happened if you didn’t react the way you did ! You saved us both that night Vaughn . We were partners for 4 years . R.i.P Von, as I knew you. When you were able you always took the time to stop by and see me and my husband and chat with us, you didn’t have to do that it was done out of respect for the elderly. I admire you for being a caring person and admire you for the loving beautiful son that you left here for us to enjoy on this earth I know you are resting please

Marshall. I Love you brother so much. I miss you Big brother you were always always there for me you taught me so much from how to catch a ball from how to defend myself as a girl and on and on. My most favorite times were growing up and when you bragged me to all your friends at Garfield High School 1984 my first year.This is my sister.. Nobody ever messed with me either you are my big brother and my protector. You got me in NJROTC playing chess and dreaming BIG. You were the same for my girls Raina and Brooke a GREAT AND Loving Uncle teaching them the bible and taking family trips. You were a Unique a one of a kind.We WILL see you on the other side. no more pain. Love you

I dont know where to begin. I loved my son so very much I am broken. Von was so loving and bright very intelligent He had lots of goals and accomplished a lot. He recently graduated from Cuyahoga Comm College in Business and Retired as a Cleveland Paramedic.He had a loving Mom and Dad and family, wife Michele and sons Scott Jacob Traylor and Gregg Thomas. May he be at Peace with the Lord.

My heart is broken. I wish I had more time to spend with my brother. He never did me wrong but could always make me laugh and smile. I'm hurt and I'm so sad.

Vaughn was a unique man with a wonderful personality. Vaughn always had so much potential to be great! You always felt surrounded by love around Vaughn. My deepest sympathy is with my my Mom who is his former Wife, his Family and most of all my brother Scott Traylor! Gone but not forgotten. Always in our hearts! Love You Vaughn
