Mary J. Stokes, 88 beloved daughter of the Late Shirley and Jessie Stokes; dearest sister of those who preceded her in death John Stokes, Dr. Charles Stokes, Josephine Horne (John), Shirley Boysaw (Virgil) and Billy Stokes.

Mary Stokes went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022, after a lengthy illness.  She is survived by her Sister-in Laws Sally Stokes and Kathy Stokes and a host of nieces and nephews and dearest friends.

My condolences to the Stokes family. Mary & I were next door neighbors since the early 2000s. We shared many things including a patio and our birthday. I would do the barbecuing and she would do the talking —- good food and good conversation. Mary is missed by many, but remembered as one of the cleanest women walking!
