Marily Peters went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
Marylin was born on October 14, 1957, in Akron, Ohio to the late Fred and Emma Davenport. Marylin attended Miller Elementary school, West Jr. High and South High school. She was a former member of the Church of God M. P. G. T. where she served on the nurse’s guild. She was a faithful employee of the Colony Health Care Center for 33 years, where she was a dedicated worker.
Marylin was preceded in death by her brother David Davenport, her sister Linda Davenport; special aunt, Annie Mae Bass.
Marylin is survived by her son Shilo (Tina) Davenport; daughter, Shaunia Davenport; stepson, Melvin Peters, stepdaughter, Shawnte Peters; brothers, Fred Davenport Jr., Willie Davenport, Larry Davenport of Georgia; sisters, twin Marsha (Tony) Duckworth, Geraldine (Peter) Davenport, Lena Upton; grandchildren, Jashawna Penton, John and Javon Penton, Shilo Davenport Jr. and Tania Davenport; great-grandchildren, Anton Betts Jr. and Layla Betts; special cousin, Lucy Gilbert; special friends, Evelyn Lee, Dorothy Cosey, Ardelma Cummings, Rona Kovach, and a host of family and friends.
