A love letter to Mrs. Maurine Stovall’s Family: Mrs. Maurine Stovall has known me all my born days. She was a friend of our family but I consider her and Gina family members. She was also my Sunday School teacher at Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church where Rev E. Theophilus Caviness is the Pastor. Mrs. Maurine Stovall always had a pleasant smile and a great sense of humor. Whenever I was in her presence, she made me feel loved, cared for and exceptional. Mrs. Maurine was an excellent Sunday School Teacher. Even though I live in Florida, when I came home, I made sure I studied my Sunday School lesson and was prepared for her class. She wanted excellence and the best for the students in her Sunday School Class. She wanted God’s word to resonate in our heart and soul. Also, because of Mrs. Maurine, I still study my Sunday School Lessons to this very day. I hope, I have made her proud as her Sunday School student. Mrs. Maurine Stovall you will always be my #1 Sunday School Teacher.
