Melvin Hinchen was born on August 8, 1957 to Melba R. Hinchen and George F. Hinchen in Cleveland, Ohio. Melvin accepted Christ at an early age. He was nicknamed, “Mello Mel” because he was a peaceful person and had a heart of gold.
