Michael Anthony Owens was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 16, 1957 to Fred and Millie Owens, becoming the youngest of two.
Michael graduated from Shaker High School in 1975. Soon after he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. Upon returning home from his tour of duty in the Marine Corp he soon married his long time High School Sweetheart Judith on June 23, 1979.
Michael and Judy first met in the 3rd grade at Shaker Moreland Elementary School. Later they began dating in the 9th grade at Shaker High School which led into a marriage of 47 years. During their marriage they lived in Atlantic City, New Jersey for 16 years before returning to Cleveland.
Michael, a hard worker, worked for various companies over the years before settling in with Cleveland Clinic for the last 6 years. It was a position he truly enjoyed. Never missing one day of work.
Michael confessed his faith in Christ through his affiliation with Set Free Ministries. His wife Judith has been a member for many years.
Michael departed on Sunday, January 28th, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memory, Judith his wife, Shirley Owens his sister, Sterling Owens (Linda)his nephew, Miriam William (Mel) his sister-in-law and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
