Michael David Harris (Butch) was born to the late Oscar and Inez Harris, March 2. 1952, in Tallahassee, Florida. Michael was educated in the Cleveland Public School System, and graduated from Glenville High School in 1971, and later attended Airco Tech for welding.
After high school, Michael was an assembly line worker at White Motors for several years until its closing. He then transitioned to the position of tow motor operator for over 35 years. He worked at Matrix, Nestle, Yellow Freight and ultimately retired from Loreal. Michael continued to work part-time as a school bus driver and monitor for Education Alternatives until December of 2020.
At the age of eighteen, Michael was blessed with a son, Anthony Mosley. He later married Donna Clinkscale (who preceded him in death) and to this union was born two sons, Tyrrell, and Terrence.
Those that know Michael would say that he was full of life and was a kind, caring, compassionate loving person. He enjoyed working out, watching sports events, grilling, dancing, golfing, going to the movies and hanging out with friends and family. Michael was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan and never gave up hope that they would make it to the Super Bowl one day. He later fell in love with Arsinia Edwards who would help broaden his horizons by going to the beach, water parks, exercising together, traveling, and enjoying life together. They enjoyed life together until he peacefully transitioned to death late Wednesday, July 20, 2022
Michael Harris leaves to cherish his memories three sons Anthony Mosley, Tyrrell Harris. Terrence Harris and a stepdaughter Libra Weston; his soulmate Arsinia Edwards; four grandchildren Anthony Jr., Aasir, Ashanti, and Ayana; seven siblings Deloris Hilliard (Bishop Lester Hilliard), Bernard Harris (Benita). Maria Lewis (Michael). Cynthis Elliot, Ronald Harris (Tammy), and Jacqueline Harris; adopted brother Milton Franklin. Many nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Harness.
