Michael E. Davis, 61, of Barberton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Michael was born in Hayneville, Alabama, and raised in Akron, Ohio. Michael Graduated from Buchtel High School. In his youth, Michael enjoyed skating and excelled in wrestling. Michael was a devoted employee of Malco Products for 29 years. He was a loving and supportive dad, granddad, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Michael was preceded in death by grandparents Annie & Jonas Davis and Matilda & James Harris; aunt Maggie Starks; sister Gail Strickland; and longtime friend Perry McCormick.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, daughters Lakeasha Edwards and Takeasha (Yoel) Crossty; grandchildren Dae’Lanise, De’Moni, DeLaya Dobson, and Kaylen Crossty; parents Earl and Thelma Davis; sisters Anita Davis and Phyllis (Michael) Poulson; nieces Lakeia (Jamahl) Id-Deen, LaToya Strickland, and MiChel Poulson; nephew Kevin (Allyson) Strickland; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends including special friend Marlene Marrow.
