Good day family As I ponder on my heart and the loss of life we seem to experience too much this year My thoughts and memories with my cousin are of incredible laughter and full of smiles He was always doing something!!!! I recall fondly his heart felt love, genuinely spiritual faith Ok sooooo endearing faith that drove him to help others his style ( Detroit smooth mixed with his Jesus dreads .. that’s what I called them His compassionate deliverance of street knowledge and his undeniable love for family Many people have crossed his path , crossed his heart and travelled near and far to pay respect Regardless if I was in town or over the phone he was available and always supportive I was grateful for Michael Davie aka always Cuz Now I can’t say we have had decades of memories to reflect on but I can hear his laugh and feel his hug as if I just visited What I can say is that I have a lifetime of smiles to reflect how proud he was of family All of his family Those he knew and those who is was trying to get to know My heart hurts that we didn’t get to make more memories I’m unable to be present in Cleveland or to lend my voice in the service today as I am fighting COVID myself But I have words for those who are listening Love as much as you want Leave no hugs behind Read as long as you can Educational purpose is just as important as spiritual awareness Allow your self to be free Open your heart Fill it with compassion and protect your style … that’s what Mike did Lastly remember to dance as if nothing else matters and no one is watching Your brand is how you Make people feel when your not around anymore Most importantly Pray more and fearless Cousin … We know your heart and happiness is smiling Love you cousin….
