Michele Denise Bibby departed this life on November 25, 2020, at the age of 54. She was born in Akron, Ohio on June 8, 1966, to Deloris Wallace and David Jones.
Michele attended John R. Buchtel High School graduating in 1984. She was a member of the Buchtel Gospel Choir. She worked at Akron General Medical Center as a Surgical Technician. After falling ill, she continued serving in ministry, helping in the kitchen, coordinating events, serving in the food pantry, or just helping wherever needed.
She went on to earn her degree in Medical Billing and Coding. Michele was then led to the Word Church, where she was a faithful member until her passing. She was a gentle soul, with an infectious laugh, and a kind and compassionate spirit.
Michele joined Alcohol Anonymous (AA) on December 31, 2002, and was sober for nearly 18 years where she embraced her AA family by sharing her story and aspiring others.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Lou (William) Bibby and Juliann Jones; adopted mother, Faith (Waymon) Johnson-Greer and uncle, Robert Bibby.
She is survived by her son Tristian Bibby; daughters, Trishay and Trishelle Bibby; Godson, Terrance Neal, Goddaughter, Carmesha Neal; grandson, Immanuel Bibby; sister, Vonda (Carl) Johnson-Wilson; brother, Tony Johnson; aunt, Sandy (Ben) Hatch, Sarah Freeman; uncle, William Bibby, Jr.; special cousins, Anthony Bibby, Yurvonicka Hatch, Taneke Bibby, and Twila Moss; special friend, Sonya Bell and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
