Mikki Lynn Brigitzer-Thomas was born July 7th, 1951, in Dayton, Ohio to the union of Bettie and Stephen Brigitzer. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1967 and graduated from hair school in 1969. Mikki later attended Cuyahoga Community College to pursue her nursing career. Mikki graduated as anRN in 1982. She absolutely loved being a psychiatric nurse, and recently ended her health-care career as a home health nurse.
Mikki had 1 son Anthony Brigitzer. She then met Thomas White and had 3 daughters Velvet Brigitzer, Cozette Brigitzer, and Tomeeka Brigitzer. She was recently reunited with her love, her husband, Lee Thomas.
Mikki enjoyed shopping, bird watching, fishing, and going to the casino. Although, her ultimate love was her Hunny bunnies (her grandchildren)! She made many traditions with them. Mikki’s favorite tradition was spending Christmas Eve with her family. Mikki baked and was an excellent cook. Her grandchildren bragged about how no one can top her infamous pancakes with the crispy edges! Mikki loved watching football with her grandsons.
Mikki will be missed tremendously by those who love her. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Brigitzer, her brother John (Kim) Brigitzer, and her best friend/sister Donna Sikes. She leaves to mourn her husband Lee Thomas; mother Bettie Brigitzer; 4 children; 11 grandchildren, Derrick, Vino, Brittney, Desiree, Kayla, Ali, Kaitlynn, Isaiah, Rodney, Giovanni, and Lea; 7 great grandchildren, Damaric, A’Miya, Noah, London, Kannon, Skylar, and Cruz.
