Margaret White, 84, entered into the gates of heaven on October 3, 2018. She was born in Milledgeville Georgia, on September 20, 1934 to Griffin and Viola Palmer. She lived most of her life in Akron graduating from Akron Public Schools. She married Frank B. White on September 22, 1950 and from that union four children were born. She retired from Akron General Medical Center as an EKG Technician after more than 20 years of service.
Sister White accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal Savior in 1960. She joined Holy Temple Pentecostal Church, which was founded by her mother Viola Hall. She was licensed as a Minister by Elder Ellis McKenzie. Minister White was promoted to Assistant Pastor under the Late Elder Wyle Powell and, upon his passing, remained a faithful member. The church later merged with Rooted In Christ , under the leadership of Elder Rodney Bowden, Pastor.
She was preceded in death by her parents Viola Hall and Griffin Palmer; brothers Griffin and Curtis Palmer; sisters Hattie Powell and Mary Clay.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Frank B. White; four children Sandra Kennedy, Sharon White, Reverend Wayne (Mary) White of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Tommy (Diane) White; in-laws Chester (Odessa) White, Geneva Palmer, Naomi Carter, and Beatrice (Rayford) Hickman; Special Son-in-Law William Kennedy; 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
