Obituary Minnie Lee Brown- Jackson, age 94, a longtime resident of Akron, Ohio was peacefully called to be with the Lord on March 26, 2022 at Tallmadge Health And Rehab. Minnie was born on July 31, 1927, in Ruleville, Mississippi, Sunflower County. She was a long time faithful member of the New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church under the late Reverend IR Bradley. She was one of the founding members of the Missionary Committee and active with other ministries in the church. Minnie truly loved the Lord. She loved to cook and was known for her famous dressing and greens. She also worked as a cook for 25 years at Laconi’s Italian Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Sr. & Maggie Moore; husband, Abraham Jackson; daughters, Elizabeth Brown, Ruth Brown-Reynolds, Carol Anne Brown, Vauncia Watkins, Charlene Brown and Rachel Brown; sons, Allen (Dale) Brown and Bailey Watkins.

Survived by daughter, Stephanie Brown; sons, Clarence Brown, Willie Brown and Arthur Brown; sisters, Irene Palmer (Akron), Elizabeth Washington (Chicago), Maggie Colvin (Akron) and Mary Johnson (Detroit); special granddaughters, Tabatha Brown and LaQuina (Detrice) Haggins both of Akron; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of family & friends.

She will be greatly missed. We Love You Mom!
