Rest in Peace, Mirl I miss you, Mirl. We might not have been as close as we used to be, but your spirit, your laughter, and the way you lit up every room will always stay with me. I’ll forever keep you in my heart. I keep thinking about the old days—being on the football team together, you cracking jokes and making everybody laugh, or us acting silly at Jayla’s house. Even the little moments, like us singing in class or when you took that lady’s pumpkin on Halloween… man, you always knew how to make something funny out of nothing. You never meant harm to anyone. You were genuine, real, and always yourself. That’s why nobody ever judged you—we knew your heart. You had this energy that made people laugh, feel seen, and feel good. The whole team loved you for that. And now seeing all the people showing love—even the ones who weren’t that close—just proves how real your spirit was. I’m so sorry your family is going through something this heavy. I’m praying for them, for comfort, strength, and peace. I hope they know how many lives you touched.
