Monica is survived mother, Delores King; children, Valen Brentson, Mark Hamilton, and Marcus Sims; siblings, Maurice Brentson, Marcia Brentson, Michelle King, Michael King; grandchildren, Malaya Smith, and Josalen Smith. Monica is the daughter of the late, Henry Brentson.
