Monico Lee Norment Jr., who was affectionately known as “MJ,” was born on September 10, 2021, in Akron, Ohio, to Christina Kelly and Monico Norment, Sr.

Monico shared 16 beautiful months with us, he was a ball of fire and a joy to be around. He loved playing with his blocks and dinosaurs, as well as talking to his mom in “dinosaur.” He was a loving son and brother who brought smiles to the faces of everyone he encountered. He suddenly passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, he will be missed by all who loved him.

May we find comfort knowing little Monico will rest easy with his beloved grandparents, Richard Nesby, and April “Netta” Green; and great-grandmother, Ellen Duncan-Nesby.
