Moses was born on August 3, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Georgia Mae and Moses Jr. (preceded in death). He was raised in Cleveland, where he attended schools in the Cleveland Municipal School District and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1989.
Moses was a proud Mason, deeply dedicated to the principles of the ancient and honorable fraternity. The ultimate protector, he was always vigilant and unwavering in his commitment to keeping his family safe. He lived with purpose, loyalty, and strength, qualities that defined every role he held in life.
He built lifelong friendships through the neighborhood where he grew up, his school years, his career, and beyond. Moses cherished memories and captured countless moments through photographs, preserving the joy and bonds he shared with those he loved.
Moses found his professional calling with the City of Cleveland Division of Water, where he dedicated 18 years of service and built a lasting career marked by commitment and reliability.
The first and greatest love of Moses’ life was his daughter, Daijah Monet, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. Through her, he was blessed with his first granddaughter, Savannah, who held a special place in his heart. Later in life, Moses reconnected with Monica, whom he had met as young teens in school, and the two were united in marriage in 2023.
Moses accepted Christ at an early age and deeply valued his relationship with his Heavenly Father throughout his life. His faith guided him and sustained him through every season.
Moses leaves behind a host of family and friends whom he loved dearly. Though he has departed this earthly life, he leaves them with memories, laughter, lessons, and love that will endure until the day they meet again. Moses wanted each of them to know just how much they meant to him.
